and a few more...
New Baby Pictures
Hello, I don't have a lot of time to talk, but I just wanted to post some quick pictures. Noah Matthew is doing good. He still has a little bit of jaundice so he needs to stay under the lights, but at least he can do that at home. He actually sleeps really well and only wakes at night for eating. However, the jaundice can cause drowsiness so this might change when he gets better. He is a true blessing to our family. Enjoy the pictures.

babies, job, and bwca
hey everyone... boy has it been a long time since i posted last. i hope that everyone has been doing well. i am presently enjoying my last week of freedom before i enter the productive work force. to celebrate it, i headed up to the boundary waters with one of my old roommates. we had decent weather and it was quite a good time. now i am back... and waiting for the day i get to be an uncle again (thanks megan for holding the little babe in long enough for me to get back!).
my interview went really well last week and the basically said i had the job. this week i have to talk to the director of homeless services and actually find out what training and paper work i have to go through. hopefully i will get that going as soon as possible. on another note, it was nice to have justin up in the cities this last week with his pastor shel. we got to go to a pretty good jazz club in saint paul.
besides that, the only other news that i can think of is that our chickens are going to move to our house today... apparently they were being harassed at their old house (one was found in a garbage can and it looked like stones were being thrown at them). so it will be good to have them nearby. hope to talk to youall soon, matt
ps, i will keep you posted on the job stuff.

Little Amelia
I just had to show everyone my new niece, Amelia Rae. She was born 9/10 at 2:58 PM. She was 7 lbs, 2 oz and 19 1/2 in long. Isn't she adorable. She looks a lot like Anna did when she was born- esp the lips and cheeks. I'm so excited!!!! Finally I'm an aunt. Now if only my little nephew would come!
Have a great day!
Abby
