ahhh, what a picture. i can see that you have an eye for detail which supercedes even the most critical of photographers. simply astounding! the epistestomological questions which this fine piece of artwork invokes ring true for a new post-foundationalist generation of wanderlust postmodernists. truly, while this simple photograph may be dismissed as "unabashedly naive", the careful artist-philosopher understands its inticracies... discovering that the work calls the individual to look beyond mere substance to the very essence of humanity's inter-subjective relationality. bravo, bravo! uncle matt

So, Thomas --- can we ever see the "real" Christmas picture instead of the evil one? Despite what Uncle Matt wrote, I'm not so sure this pic is such a great shot of you and Anna - and I think I'd like the other version of it better! (I think Uncle Matt's mixing theology with his new photography magazine and it's all become muddled in his head, but that's just my opinion.)

dont let grandma, dad, mother, sister, uncle, aunt, great grandfather, or anyone else censor you. you are an artist, be proud. live loud. eat beans. shower rarely. eat clam. etc, etc, etc. matt

Thomas - Trust your grandma on this. It's a good thing to live respectfully, shower regularly, obey your parents, and eat salads! Grandma!
